29 applications for funding of up to £300 each were received by the Rotary Club and after careful scrutiny 24 were selected to receive awards.
As in previous years the number and amount of bids exceeded the funds (£6000) available and as a consequence 5 were not approved and several were approved for a lesser amount than requested. Emails and letters have been sent to all applicants today and arrangements are underway for a presentation at Horbury Working Members Club on 12 May at 2pm.
