On Wednesday 12 June Rotary Clubs throughout Yorkshire took children who have severe and profound and multiple learning difficulties for a day out at the Lightwater Valley Theme Park. Over 700 children were there , each with a carer and lots of Rotarians helping out

It was an amazing experience to be with these children and it was so inspiring and worth while as they showed excitement, joy and pleasure in their own special ways.
It was a tremendous day out for the kids, it was a tremendous day for Rotary, I will certainly be putting my name forward next year as a helper

Thanks to Chris Taylor for organising our club and Roy Carrington of Mirfield for organising the total event
