Defibrillator, Heart Start & CPR - FreeTraining

Whilst defibrillators are easy to use we think that everyone should be better prepared in the event of an emergency.
Anyone can be trained, just let us know if you are interested.
We think it’s a great way to bring the community together and help to raise awareness of sudden cardiac arrest.
The free training sessions will be held at Horbury Working Members Club, Cluntergate, Horbury, Wakefield, West Yorkshire, WF45DB.
We will let you know when the training sessions are arranged.
Please use this website's "Contact Us" link so we may give you further details via email.

The "Rotary Navigation" is a sponsored walk in aid of local charities run by Horbury and Ossett Phoenix and Mirfield Rotary Clubs.

The date for 2011 will be Sunday the 3rd of April. The route is approximately 8 miles and follows the course of the canals between the Navigation Pub in Mirfield and the the Navigation Pub at Calder Grove near Horbury. The walk is obviously nice and flat along the canals and is bi-directional so you can start at Calder Grove or start at Mirfield. You can park at the end points and a coach will be available to transport you to your chosen start point.

Registration will be £5 and once registered you will be able to download a sponsorship form.

A new website has been launched for the walk which is http://www.rotarynavigation.co.uk
